Panasonic Full HD Pro Plasma monitors can now be conveniently and exceptionally color managed through the Cine-tal Davio Video Signal Processor and Video Display Controller Library software, now available from VTP. Supporting the TY-FB11DHD Panasonic Dual Link option board for RGB processing versatility, which is compatible with the Panasonic Type 20-Series PF Full HD models, the added Cine-tal Davio system combination further establishes Panasonic Pro Plasmas as a cost-effective yet powerful solution providing exceptional image quality for a wide-range of professional applications.
Davio Video Signal Processor and Video Display Controller software Product Highlights:
- Supports Dual Link HD-SDI, HD-SDI, SDI, or HDMI/DVI-D
- Support for 2048x1080 through HD-SDI Dual Link
- One active 64x64 3D LUT full screen, or up to four active 64x64 3D LUTs with different targets split quad screen using the Video Display Controller Library software
- Optional Hardware Control Panel for Video Display Controller Library software
- Optional Additional Libraries available for different functionality, such as
supporting stereoscopic workflow on other displays
The Cine-tal Davio Video Signal Processor and Video Display Controller software, when configured, can provide exceptional 64x64 point precision 3D LUT color management calibration capability to a single Panasonic Professional Plasma display. Supported by a wide variety of industry probes, the cineProfiler software from Cine-tal cineSpace can be used to profile a specific Plasma display monitor to a specific target profile, such as ITU-R BT.709-5, ITU-R BT.601-5 (SMPTE 170M) or P3. The Davio Video Display Controller software then uses this 3D LUT profile in the Davio Video Signal Processor to configure and adapt content input values to more closely conform through the Plasma output to the intended calibration profile.
The Cine-tal Davio Video Signal Processor and Video Display Controller software supports HDMI, 3Gb/s HD-SDI, HD-SDI 1.485Gb/s, or HD-SDI Dual Link operation. In HD-SDI Dual Link 2048x1080 XYZ or RGB modes, SMPTE 352M VPI metadata is available to support the Panasonic TYFB11DHD Dual Link HD-SDI Input Board Option.
The Davio Video Signal Processor can be re-configured for other purposes, with optional Davio software Libraries, such as to support other display calibration functions or stereoscopic workflow color management solutions on other displays using the Davio Stereo library.
CineSpace software is widely accepted and adopted throughout the industry for precision color management and display calibration for Video, Digital Cinema, Digital Intermediate, animation and visual FX, including new support to include a wider range of measurement tools such as from Photo Research, Konica Minolta, Klein Instruments (K-10), and XRite (Hubble).
With its compact size, the Davio Video Signal Processor system is a convenient and capable tool for grading room or on set video signal processing including optional software to function for Video Display System Calibration, Computer Display System Calibration, Color Pipeline Management, and Stereoscopic Workflow.
